Sometimes users may notice slight discrepancies between their data sources, such as Yardi Voyager or Google Analytics, and Remarkably. There are a few possible reasons for this, and a simple solution to the issue. See source-specific explanations and recommendations below.

If Yardi Voyager data doesn’t match what’s in Remarkably:

  • First, make sure you are looking at the same date ranges, properties, and KPIs.
  • Second, make sure you’re looking at an event-based or transactional data view or report, not a cohort-based or relational data view or report.
  • If there’s still a data mismatch, it’s likely due to customer changes to data in Yardi Voyager after the Remarkably daily data pull.
    • For example, imagine on Day 1, Remarkably ingests anonymized Yardi Voyager data about ‘Jane Smith’, a Lead sourced from ‘Zillow’. Then, one Day 2, a leasing agent changes Jane to be sourced from ‘Property Website’ because he realizes he’d made an error the previous day. On Day 3, the Lead referral source data will mismatch between Yardi Voyager and Remarkably.
  • There’s a simple fix: Remarkably Admin users can backfill their Yardi Voyager data in Remarkably’s Admin: Connections section, up to one month at a time. Learn more about backfilling.

If Google Analytics data doesn’t match what’s in Remarkably:

  • First, make sure you are looking at the same date ranges, properties, and KPIs.
  • Second, make sure you’re looking at an event-based or transactional data view or report, not a cohort-based or relational data view or report.
  • If there’s still a data mismatch, it’s likely due to Google Analytics new users’ session end dates and times that fall after the Remarkably daily data pull. This is a known issue for GA 4.
    • For example, imagine on Day 1, Remarkably ingests Google Analytics data about new users’ sessions from a variety of referral sources including Organic Google. Then, one Day 2, a few of those sessions hadn’t technically ended according to Google Analytics, who measures unique users’ sessions for up to 72 hours. On Day 3 and/or 4, the New Website Visitors total in Remarkably may be a few users less than the sum in Google Analytics.
